South Strand Global Methodist is Pastored by Dennis Devorick. Dennis is married to Kurusumu Devorick. Josiah is their son.
Our pastor at South Strand Methodist Church is a dedicated and compassionate leader who truly embodies the spirit of Christ in every aspect of ministry. With 35 years of experience serving the communities of Horry and Georgetown Counties, and in Ohio along with missions to Brazil and Africa. Pastor consistently brings warmth, wisdom, and encouragement to the congregation. Passionate about fostering faith and connection, he is deeply involved in outreach programs and community events, helping to strengthen the bonds among believers in Socastee, Murrells Inlet, Surfside Beach, and beyond. His approachable nature and heartfelt sermons inspire all who attend to grow in their spiritual journey and live out their faith with joy and purpose.
